BIOGRAPHY
I was born in Syria on 18-7-1987. My passion for Arts started long ago and has grown throughout the years. I spent my childhood trying to draw as many things as I could, and when I had the chance I decided to study art to become professional and express myself better to the world. I joined the Fine Arts College in Damascus University in 2006. After my first year in the college, I discovered the intense richness and great importance of the Art world. My department was oil painting and I graduated in 2010. It was an overwhelming experience. I have found myself going through several stages in my career as an artist changing my style and use of materials.
Since 2010 I've been fluctuating in a wide range of styles and I am proud to say that I could develop strong techniques in more than seven of them. In spite of all the obstacles I met after I was forced to leave Syria to Lebanon in 2013, in which I spent two long years, and then to Turkey in which I live for the time being, I managed to strive and win the fight, and here I am producing the best I can to the whole world.
ARTIST STATEMENT
Searching is a big aim in my life, a cause to fight for. Throughout searching, solutions and answers to life issues can be found. I introduce an analysis from my own point of view to the audience counting on what I see, dream of and imagine. My Art is the light that guides me to my destination. When I transfer the stories, memories, emotions, etc. into my performance stage, I compose and rebuild all the details from scratch. That is because artwork is not an iterative scene or process, it is another way to see our life.
All artists have an inspiration tool like a muse and my muse is life in all of its contrary differences and rich aspects.
In my painting I am creating my own world, with my own concepts. All the elements of my paintings are lifelike: ( human beings with their acts , skills and emotions, animals , houses, forests, and every single detail my eyes can catch). So what the viewer receives is an impression of my relationship with these elements no matter what the style is.
Through my art career I have been inspired by many impressionists, expressionists, abstractionists and many of the old masters. I remember this quote for Ingres: (Draw lines…. Lots of lines, whether from memory or from life.)
My art is my precious source of joy and hope. It is a great way to express a beautiful vision and pass it to others.

Exhibitions - Art workshops
- Cultural Diversity - Art Workshop
This is an art workshop of pottery making, decorating, and coloring. It's held within the framework of the Cultural Diversity model associated with Yaşamak Sosyal Alan ve Dayanışma Derneği. Oct - Nov 2023. İzmir, Turkey.
We used the formation of pottery to achieve an artistic and cultural atmosphere of harmony among participants of different and diverse cultures. As we focused on providing the technical basics in their simplified form for working with clay and giving the participants the space to practically apply what they have learned. As a result the participants now gained some knowledge about clay and pottery making, and how common it is in all cultures throughout history.
After a period of waiting for the pottery shapes that the participants had previously made to be fully dried and fired in a kiln, they decorated and colored them in the same harmonious cultural atmosphere we started with.

- Awareness module about Hate Speech, Racism and Discrimination - Art Workshop
This Art workshop was held within the framework of the awareness module about Hate Speech, Racism and Discrimination. Associated with Yaşamak Sosyal Alan ve Dayanışma Derneği. May, 2023. İzmir, Turkey.
In this Art workshop, we talk about racism, discrimination and hate speech, and we try as much as possible to overcome the effects of these behaviors by expressing them through drawing and coloring.
This type of workshop provides a safe space for everyone to express their experiences and ideas freely without worrying about being subjected to any judgment and criticism. Also it provides an opportunity to embody our views on the concepts of hate speech, racism, and discrimination within an artwork, by reducing them to various drawings, colors, and symbols. Which makes us feel that we can somehow 'control our fears of these concepts, confront them and limit them.' Making a collective art workshop with a group of people from different cultures enhances our self -confidence, encourages us to communicate more with each other, and strengthens our efforts in facing our common reality.

- Peace Building - Art Workshop
Our Art workshop was held within the framework of 'Peace Building' project hosted by Yaşamak Sosyal Alan ve Dayanışma Derneği and Tarihi Bıçakçı Han June - July, 2022. İzmir, Turkey.
To express ourselves through colors freely, it is like expressing our feelings in front of people without being subjected to any judgment from them. Therefore, making a collective artwork with a group of people from different cultures enhances our self-confidence, encourages us to communicate more with each other, and strengthen our efforts in facing our common reality. Perhaps we can change the world through dream and mutual inspiration.
